Pipelines Open Cut Laying

Open cut methods of pipe laying have been traditional in the country. When conditions are acceptable, this method is employed with excavations open for the entire trench length. The open cut method is accomplished in the following sequence; first comes pavement removal, which involves opening the existing pavement to pave way for the trench excavation and following it is the laying of the new pipe and the subsequent backfilling and surface restoration.
